Default 2005 GS300 Climate control problems

I bought this car a few months back and has been running pretty good. I turned on the front defrost this morning, and I am not getting any air flow from the windshield vents.

The a/c works great on the car, but it does not blow very hard. It sounds like it is blowing hard, but the air just doesn't seem to come out of the vents like other cars I have had.

Is there a simple fix I can make without ripping out the dashboard?

I'm not sure if this would affect the defrost, but I know my airflow felt a little weak and I changed the cabin filter and mine was totally caked in junk, got noticeably better airflow after changing it.

Sounds like the servo for the blend door. The servo you are looking for is the easier one to get to and you have to remove the glove box and cd changer to get to it. Very easy to do. I had to take 3 of my servos apart (driver side temp servo, passenger side temp servo and the blend door servo for the different vent positions) because they were clicking and giving me problems. All you need to do is clean the contacts inside the servo and re-grease the internals. The contacts inside where it meets the plastic white gear were very dirty on mine.

It is definitely your servo motor. Change it and you be good again.

Thanks for the input. Is the mode servo the only one that I need to be concerned about right now? Does the mode servo control the location of the flow and the recirc also?

Yes the electronics for the climate controller itself are very reliable so I would start with the servo first as it is more of a common problem. You have 4 servos total which are for the driver side temp servo, passenger side temp servo, vent position servo and a separate servo for the air recirculation.
