Default Help needed with TTE lip

Hi,

I'm looking for a TTE style front lip, not the OEM TTE lip but a TTE style lip with a good fitment.
The fitment is an important point for me, because i don't want to drill holes in my bumper. Some eBay descriptions are saying that I need to drill holes.

I know there are a few (I believe 6 or 8) screws under the bumper, which are holding the bumper on the car. I've found two lips which seem to line out with 4 of those screws. So the only thing I will need to do is put the lip on the bumper, screw it and I'm done. Maybe a little 3M tape on the side and done. Do you guys think these will line out on my factory bumper?:

I prefer the one from the first link because it looks like the 4 brackets are lined out with the screws under the bumper, so it will be screw out, screw in and the lip is installed.
Or is the second one the same?

Thanks a lot guys!
Regards,

I wouldn't count on any replica TTE lip fitting well enough that you can use existing screws and double-sided tape without drilling any holes, but maybe I'm wrong.

The TTE replica lip I bought seemed to be the most popular one on eBay, if I recall correctly (not either of the ones you sent) and it didn't reach the factory screws on the bottom. Fitment was alright, but not great. I ended up just using 8 small, self-tapping screws along the bottom.

You're best off simply screwing into the bottom of the bumper. It's not like they'll be visible if you decide to remove it later.

I don't how my painting guy do with mine to make fit perfect with my bumper. But he use a doble black tape to hold on place. No holes on it. Also, I've hear about the heat it up with heat gun on the corners, just a little be to make the lip fit better

Ok thanks guys. It really looks like the lip from the first link will line out with the bumper screws. Anyone else owns that lip?

When I had my copy TTE just fit on without anything but I ended up drilling a couple holes in the ends and screws there then small bead of silicon along just underneath the top and it never had any problem
