Alright,

I am new to the 2 GS and i am experiencing big electrical problem right now. When car is on off position and that i get out. Headlight comes on by themselves. I return in the car to close them but the stick is on off position already not auto. I switch it to all positions and it turns off but will get back on by itself 30 seconds after.

Now the problem doesn't stop there. If i start the car, it will trigger rapidly between DRL and high beam without touching anything like a machinegun or stay stuck on highbeam.(remember that the switch assembly is on off position) If i put it in "parking light" only the rear end of the car will lit and nothing happen on front. If i put it on the Headlight (HID) the fog will come on 1 out of 4 time and i completely lose the rear parking lights but brake lights and flashers work fine.

I noticed that the healight switch assembly was fairly worn by the years. The first owner (a sales rep on the road) was using it for work. Will that swtich assembly possibly affect these. All fuses and relays are fine but the lights are freaking out.

Anyone can help on this?

 

Sounds like a dodgy ground somewhere in the lighting circuit. Are the HIDs aftermarket?

 

No HID are Original equipement.
