Found a few blown fuses. One was the main 120 amp fuse, got it replaced.

The only problem now is that the radio is dead. All of the fuses in all 4 boxes are good, I tested them with a multi-meter and visually inspected most of them. What is the odds that the radio is blown? Is that hard to replace?

Grrr, also, the garage remote is not working.

I think you have to re program the garage door one more time.
Also, do you find the issue with you radio? I have a extra one 2005 and only one button have a mark on it. But the full radio work fine.

Default Help me too !! First GEN gs 300

I recently bought a car that had reversed polarity issues . I replaced the starter, alternator, integration relay, and ignition switch, I checked all my blade fuses with digital multimeter for cont and they’re all good. I have determined that I have no power running to my interior kick panel fuses , I determined this by removing the 30 amp large clear top fuse marked as main on that fuse panel and I get no power to the blades of the fuse panel itself . Is there a way I could find the break in power to the fuse panel ? I’m not very technically inclined Nor do I claim to be able to read the schematics but I am fairly intelligent and can follow directions if anyone might help me figure out a quick to remedy my very frustrating and under funded self diagnosis and repair . Basically I’m asking if anyone might have any idea where I could go from here?

Thanks

If English is not your first language, I apologize in advance. If it is, however, I might suggest that when asking for help, you should try to make your prose readable by using capital letters at the beginning of sentences and periods at the end.

Search on "battery" and I know you will find other strings that discuss what happens when you install the battery backwards. I remember seeing a few that contained first-hand experience dealing with this issue.

Return the battery and get the correct one. It’s a simple return and you can avoid more car issues.

Yeah I had the appropriate battery installed and it initially but thanks I agree in your assessment of possible damage later on down the road. I think my next move is to replace the alternator with a new one and see if there’s some sort of safety feature disabling unnecessary functions. If that doesn’t work then I will need to find some one competent in the Mattix to direct me in a wire Chase to find where the break power is coming from thanks again for your ongoing help and support. I have and will continue to research in the forums but even though I found much the same symptoms and other posts it’s either for a different model for their fix was not my own. The ones I have found closest and similarity seen me in the fade away after they’ve found their problem and repaired it and never come back to update their query or threat posed joe
