Default Hub bearing replacement advice

So I've looked at old threads and so on and it seems like pretty cumbersome work especially that I live in a apartment with only limited tools. How much would it cost me to get one side done at a mechanic? is it about $300 or more like $1000 per wheel?

Wow. That's so much less than I thought considering all the work that's being put in to it.

EDIT: I don't have that shop in DFW. Does anyone have any advice on a good shop that will not overcharge me?
