Default GS LED Tail questions

So I picked up a used set of inner and outer LED tails from a member here a few months ago. I installed only the outers yesterday and while all the LED's light up when you press the brake, turn signals also work fine, the lights don't illuminate and stay on like they're supposed to when I turn on my headlamps. Anybody ever ran into this before? Or is it possibly because I didn't install the LED inners and am still running my OEM's? I can't see that as being the case, right? Any ideas?

Any thoughts? I'm going to install the inners tonight to see if it makes a difference. But, I'm just worried that if that's not the problem, then what to do from there?

Inners have nothing do do with the outers and that shouldn't be it, if that does solve your problem it would be strange. Check the wiring again. also, did the "light out" warning show up on the dash because it's supposed to unless you have the resistor pack.

Haha, that's the funny thing is that it didn't come on. Both inners and outers come on when I step on the brake, but you how they're supposed to turn on when you turn on your headlights......they don't. Weird?

Interesting lol but ya I had LEDs without resistors so my light out came on. maybe there's a resistance issue. try reinstalling your stock ones and see if it affects them maybe.
