Default Another remote door unlock issue

I have a 2002, and my passenger door lock is having issues. Using the remote it won't unlock. If I use the key in the door or the drivers window switch, it does unlock.

I searched on here and most results for wonky door locks seem to be caused by bad actuators, but since the door does unlock using the drivers button, is something else at play here?

Any suggestions on where I should be researching??

Thanks for reading.

Hit the unlock button on the fob TWICE to unlock all other doors, ONCE for drivers...go try it

Thanks for the reply.

Thats the problem, when I double click unlock, 3 of the 4 doors unlock. The passenger door stays locked.

Put your head up to the door, can u hear the motor functioning in that door? If not it's the actuator motor, if u can indeed hear the motor but it's not that loud it's the actuator, take off the door panel I guarantee u one if the cables came unmatched off the door handle but I doubt it I believe your actuator motor is shot..

Thanks for the replies.

I do hear a sound when I double click unlock from the remote, but the door doesn't unlock. It almost looks like the door slider tries to move a bit but not enough to move it to unlock position.
