If the iPad is ALL black....I say yes. If not...it looks like a tacky DIY imo

 

the youngest model of our car is 8 years old, the oldest 2nd gen gs is 15 years old....you wont be the first for almost anything on this car

 

You have to use a smaller tablet. AND STILL would need great experience in dash cutting, modifying, etc. But IMO it would look nice ONLY if you pulled it off with a stock professional look. Like if it was meant to be in there. Try using a Samsung Galaxy Tab 3. I believe it's only 7 inches. Smaller then an iPad but is just as functinal. Maybe the tablet model I mentioned is bigger then I said, then it would be the prior model to that. Anyhow, Good Luck bro and I hope you pull it off successfully!

 

When i said the first i meant on the forum. Lol i think fiberglass is what makes it look not factory. I think it looks more factory if its just shoved in IMO

the google nexus is perfect for this project as I did it already on my lexus gs430 hahahah

 

this is what I did

tablet (google nexus)
aux cable to rca cable (amazon)
amplifier 2500+w to run to all speakers four channel or more
a wired 12v ignition source for your micro usb charger
a dremmel to shave off the excess plastic

connectors
speaker wire
and a lot of time

the end result is all of your friends claiming you have a car disorder and saying you ball outta control and wanting you to come and pick em up in a butlers uniform(aka a penguin suit) so they can impress there date aka someones mom and or hooker

 

What light bulb? Lol
