Default Help - replaced OCV now another problem

Replaced OCV, got rid of all the lights so all was well until I took the car for a drive.

There was no change in performance which was fine with me as all I simply wanted was to get rid of the Christmas lights on the dashboard.

So driving at 50km/h all seemed well so I decided to turn and head back home. I hit the brakes, vehicle comes to a stop and shuts off. All lights on as if you just turned put the vehicle in ignition position. I shut it completely off ad start it back up. Started up a bit roughly and I soon as I placed on D the RPMs dropped back to 0 and car off again. Started again, gave it some flooring while in P and proceeded home. Drove some more and it didn't happen to occur again.

What I did notice is that my RPM are very low when I put the vehicle in D - its around 400-500. While in P it has a slight shaking at around 600 RPM but then it goes up to 800 and it does away. Once in D the RPMs drop to 400-500 and some shaking can be felt as if it was choking but was confident that it can take it. I did have the low RPM problem before I replaced OCV.

Might not be related to OCV replacement, just a coincidence?

Any idea what might be causing this?

Wonder if it wasn't actually the OCV but, was the VVTI pulley instead? Did you trouble-shoot it or just go by the codes?

Some time ago had some wild shaking and there was no code. Replaced spark plugs and whole bunch of other parts and no go. Someone here suggested OCV. It was replaced and shaking went away but check engine with codes for OCV came on. I thought that maybe its due to the unit itself as I bought it used. So i bought a new one and replaced it today. No more lights.

And yes, it was driver side OCV.
