sunroof / moonroof leaking - NOT drains blocked
My '98 GS300 (MK2) has a leak from the RHS rear corner.
The drain is clear!
I've taken down part of the headlining to check that the drain pipe is connected, and it is.
I poured some water into the sunroof channel, and it appears to be leaking through the seams in the corner of the sunroof assembly itself.
I don't want to have to go down the route of completely removing the headlining if I can avoid it - if I do that, I might as well just replace the roof
Has anyone had this problem, and can suggest an easy fix, that doesn't involve me shelling out $300 (equivalent) for a mechanism from a breakers?
I'm tempted to just silicone seal the entire thing shut, disconnect the electrics, and forget about it, but I would prefer it to be working...
Thanks

big rainstorm last night, and inside of car is dry as a bone...
I think that after I unblocked the drains, I must have poured too much water into the channel, and it over flowed.
