+1 on the gs being as smooth if not smoother than the M45. im a previous 2006 m45 owner and im never going back to infiniti. i owned the car for a year and a half and it was in the shop 14 times for recalls, and engine problems.
lots of nice amenities on the car but not worth the headaches.

I was putting the CD's in the changer magazine with the data side down (Its been years since I used a changer magazine and I thought they went in that way).
I flipped them over and BINGO = MUSIC!
I was making it more complicated that it really was lol

For sure man! Hit me up when you get yours or if you need help finding one. I looked for quite a while and finally found mine in Seattle. I have a great car inspector up there that knows his stuff too so you could have it inspected before pulling the trigger

2000 GS300 with 122K
Just picked up a 2000 GS300 for my son whose 1996 ES300 was totaled while he was stopped at a red light. We were both sorry to lose the ES! Great car.
The GS is beautiful but previous owner was an oil-change and go guy; no timing belt, water pump etc. I'm going to do the T-Belt and water pump (probably Toyota dealer as Lexus is a far drive). Anything else I should change out while they are doing these jobs? Are crank/cam seals more accessible when doing belt and pump?
I'll also do all fluid flushes, tune, etc but any other recommendations greatly appreciated. Driving this from Michigan to California when done.

The Air filters were filthy. The cabin one had a bunch of debri and leaves in it. The engine filter was very dirty as well. The Denso filters seem to be as good or better than the OEM ones. Perfect fit just as the box says.

Welcome and congrats on the new car! Listen to ****-adkt, he is right on the money, think twice before adding a bunch of "ebay" mods!
Either of those tire sizes will work assuming the offset of the wheels are right for them. Get a good understanding of offset and research how any setup you're looking at will fit the GS before you buy wheels, will save a lot of headaches. Check the classifieds here for used wheels, you may be able to get much better quality for your money.
Above all, research (search!) before you mod and do it right the first time, it'll save you a lot of money!
