Seat recliner knob went AWOL. How do I attach a new one on?

All I had to do was tighten the screws! Now my seat stops adjusting when I release it. Two problems solved! Thanks again, Mr Jokster!

Sweet Jesus I did not even think about trying to push the button in enough to snap on to the cylinders! After I snapped them on, I noticed the button remains stuck unless I manually stop it. I assumed all this time it's because the ***** got sticky, so I tested this theory by pushing the seat housing further in and tried to adjust the seat. It stopped on its own which made me look to the **** on the left and noticed the screws behind it were loose:
