Default RX350 Wheels on 98 GS4

Hi all - I'm a complete NOOB when it comes to wheels, I've only ever had stock wheels on my cars. Would there be any issues putting the following on my car?

2012 RX350 Wheels
245/40/R18
Pirelli Cinturato P7
35mm Offset
5 x 114.3 / 4.5

Would I be able to use current lugs? I have 235/45/R17 on chrome wheels now, seem to get bent pretty often.

Any advice is appreciated.

While you're right that the 245/40 has a smaller sidewall than the 235/45...your statement above is incorrect and reflects a common misconception about the second number in a tire's measurements.

The "40" and "45" we're referring to here are aspect ratios. They're not static measurements. The sidewall of a 245/40 is 98mm because 245 * .40 = 98. The sidewall of the 235/45 is ~106mm because 235 * .45 = ~106.

This becomes confusing when dealing with tires of greatly differing section widths. Sometimes the tire with the smaller AR has a bigger or the same sized sidewall.

Just tossing this info out there so that the OP (who doesn't seem to have a ton of experience with custom wheels and tires) can be properly educated.
