I just got my windshield replaced today ( could be unrelated) and when i got in the seat was all the way forward. hit the memory 1. the seat reset. later i got in to move it and the steering wheel wouldn't come down, dome light was not on, but puddle light was on. then steering wheel works but no seat memory now and the door locks wont work. remote wont lock, unlock either. with pass door open the dome is not on.

checked all fuses related to door locks and seats. and nothing.

I SEARCHED and could find anything.

I don't know what happens when the door lock actuators go out.
also when i put the key in the door and unlocked and held it only the drivers window went down. not the rest or roof.

Need Help. thanks

 

just a note. when i hit the lock/unlock with either the remote or both front doors, there is NO noise. no clicking or anything.

help.

 

I called sewell lexus and talked to a service writer. they said it sounds like the driver door module.
Has anyone had theirs go bad? just looking for advice before i start throwing parts on or taking it to the dealer.

when i got in this morning the steering wheel didnt come down and the drivers door switches for the rest of the windows dont work. when i got out the steering wheel retraction worked.

 

has it rained since the windshield got replaced and in between you getting the car back?

 

i have had a problem with water on the drivers floor. i was thinking it could be the body ecu on that side,
is there anything i should look at for corrosion?

 

water on the floor from what? clogged sunroof drains? leaking ac condenser or something like this?

over the summer i checked the drains and ran water all over the car. i think when i had my windshield replaced 2 years ago they left off the rubber molding in the corners of the bottom windshied. saturday they put new ones on.

FIXED THE PROBLEM WITH NEW REMOTE BATTERY !!!!!!

cant believe it I replaced the battery and hit the buttons and everything works.

never had a problem with displays or anything on the dash.

might want to add that to a sticky somewhere.
