Power folding side mirrors
I have a Lexus GS300 MK2. If I were to purchase folding mirrors and a retracting switch, what else would need to be done in order for the retracting function to work?
Is the loom already in place?
Thanks

the aristo mirror switch panel w/ the fold/unfold pushbutton will not fit on the 2GS. I used a spdt switch in conjunction with 2 relays for mine. another member used a dpdt switch.

I just did this the other day using all OEM parts. You can use Aristo door ECUs and a factory switch panel hooked to the body ECU to fold them. Here's a link to my post about it. You can see the part number of the correct door ECU in my pictures, there's a few on eBay if you search "Aristo MPX." I got the LHD switch panel from Europe and swapped the fold switch in from a Japanese panel.

Thanks for your reply guys.
If I were to wire the mirrors to an external switch inside the car, would this be easy to do from your experience? It all seems a bit complex for me
