I was wondering if anyone here had experience with Kumho Ecsta 4X tires on their GS. They had decent reviews on TireRack and are not too expensive.

I was just wondering if anyone knew if they worked well with our 2GS. Every tire performs differently depending on the car that it is on.

I haven't heard any customer feedback yet from these as they're pretty new. These are the replacement for the Ecsta ASX which were a not bad performance all-season either.

One of my buds, has a 2000 GS400 with those 4X Kumhos. He's already put 12K on them and tread not even 1/4 worn yet.. I drove his car, and its smooth and handles well for a discount brand/tire.. It drives just as good or better than his old Michelin Pilot Sports All-Seasons.

yeah i just actually purchased these for my winter setup, their pretty good not to bad on the road noise either. not sure how good the sidewalls are if your looking to stretch.

Hey, I am 1QWKGS4's friend with the 4x's. They have been incredibly great tires! I had the Michelin Pilot Sports on before and these are as good as if not better than them. I can't recommend them enough, especially for the price.

Thanks for the advice, guys. I actually just had these tires installed on my stock 17 inch rims yesterday. I went on a 2 hour trip and so far I am pleased with the ride. I haven't had any time to test these tires performance or rain and snow qualities. Hopefully they excel in those areas.
