Thank you guys for the nice words.

Funny to see there is quite a few folks with Polish roots over here (btw, I live in Warsaw).

You're right, Lexus isn't so popular here in Europe as on the other side of the pond. Actually i see very few 2GS cars in Poland, not even to mention modified ones.
In my case I was just sick and tired of big Bimmer maintenance (had two E38 740i before the Lex). So I wanted to switch to something both smaller (comparable in size with E39) and less sophisticated. 2GS looked like a perfect match, plus I fell in love with those electroluminescent gauges

As to the future plans - in addition to going single I'd like to improve look of the car as well. However haven't yet decided between 'VIP-inspired' and 'sporty/street' look. In any case I plan to USDM-ize it a bit, so Toyota/Aristo badges will go out.

1sWt2GS - actually I was looking for silver and ended with black, lol... But might want to change to some custom color in the future.
pbateson - yep, Benz, Bimmers, Audi... They are quite common in this part of the world
neegroy - it's LHD because the car is German-market Lexus GS300. Aristo stuff (including badges) was thrown in during my ownership.

Rare as **** man. In the course of a month [i went last year] I counted a couple of GS's and more LS430's surprisingly... They haven't even heard of an ES300 so they were limited to basically the GS/LS and to my knowledge all the SC's were even imports made for other markets.

Wow, ever seen any part of this world outside of the US?

With a response like that I'm willing to bet not. Enjoy your cozy rock...

Indeed... Surely it's still far behind countries like Germany or UK, but I believe you may compare Poland to less developed Western European economies, like Spain, Portugal or southern Italy...

Actually I tried three different clusters: a Japanese RHD kph converted to mph in UK, an Euro LHD kph and a US LHD mph. I decided to go with the US one. The speedo shows correct readings but I do not have display for gear indicator (in manual mode) and the shifter positions on the gauge do not exactly match the Aristo 4-speed tranny.

That's right. Afaik ES and SC were never offered on our market. Out of the remaining models IS is relatively popular, but still far far behind brands like BMW, Mercedes, Audi etc. Older GS and LS are actually rare, however I see much more of newer models.

I would like one of those 260k clusters for my Aristo. My only other option is the TRD cluster whick is like $1k on eBay.

That's ridiculous money... Looks like what you need is just an EDM kph cluster. No chances to acquire one stateside?

Alternatively you may just want to buy one in Europe:
