Question Replacing front bumper can I upgrade to a cooler part?

When I bought the car the front bumper area where the fog lights go was messed up. So the car is in the shop getting painted and I ordered the replacement part which is 377 plus tax. The thing is. Its ugly. I never liked it. It just has lines that go straight across. Nothing flashy.

I was wondering if there is an aftermarket part that I could replace it with that would be a heck of a lot cooler.

I'm not really getting the post.. Are you talking about replacing the whole front bumper with something aftermarket? Or are you talking about something near the fog lights?

Those vertical bars are part of the bumper's structural integrity, so removing them would not be the best choice. If your car is not black, why not paint them?

Yes to agressive. And to low. I dont want to scrape something consistently.
Its just the base part.Where the fog lights are attached to. Thats it. Not the grill above.

Its the part CLOSEST to the ground.

Its attached to the fog lights. That whole part. The shop said unless its plastic the fiberglass ones are a problem to fit. Is this true? I really dont want to stick with this crap bumper.
Any ideas where to get a proper bumper? Plastic and not fiberglass if the shop is correct.

Default RRRRrrrr

No I dont want to scrape the bottom of the car.
But there must be someone who has a better aftermarket one that we have on our cars now. Im paying 377 for something I cant stand since I got the car. Id rather pay 400 for something I love.

Has noone on this forum actually upgraded their GS second generation bumper?
