Chrome wheels pitting. Hyper Silver?

Chrome wheels pitting. Hyper Silver?
My chrome wheels are pitting, i was a told by a shop that could paint my rims a hyper color silver for 400$. Has anyone have or had experience with this. I would really like to stick the stock 17's.
