What sz tire on 19" RX350 wheels?
They are 19x7". Tire shop recommended 245/40/19 but that seems alil big to me. I was thinkin Im probably gonna run these as my winter setup on my lowered 430. I live in NYC so alil extra sidewall cant hurt but i dont want them to look like balloons! There is someone on 3rd gen gs running this same setup with 245/35 tires and it looks good but i cant really tell bc the pics r in the dark. any help would be great.. Trying to do this in the next few days. Thanks
Also, i need spacers! any suggestions for front and rear?

245 sounds too big for a 7" wide wheel. Maybe try a 205 or 215 since the tire widths are 8 - 8.5". A 35 profile would keep you closer to OEM diameter. Try looking at the tire manufacturer's tire spec sheet using google, it will list what tires sizes are recommended for what wheel widths.

It doesnt have BBK, i just hate how the stocks look like donuts on the car in the winter. It doesnt even look like the same car from summer(20" staggered flush setup) to winter. Shes not my dd. Just in case my daily gives me some trouble ill drive her in winter. So these RX wheels are 7.5" wide 35mm offset. Gonna have to measure for spacers. Tx

Personally I would use the stock 16" or 17" for winter. During winter no one is trying to make a fashion statement. First off if you stick with 16" or 17" you will have way more selection in winter tires to choose from and they are way better priced than 19". Now our cars are already known to handle like crap in the snow/ice so it is best to go with the softest tread possible (for example Bridgestone WS70 or Michelin XIce Xi3). The catch is that they are only available in the smaller sizes. I don't know if you've even looked but 225/40R19 is already a little oversized for our car and not to mention there are preactically no winter tires in this size. When you go to a low profile winter this only leaves you with what's called "performance winter tires" which are great for cold dry or wet conditions but is horrible in compact snow and ice, which is really the whole reason we buy snow tires. The sidewalls are much harder on low profile tires compared to taller sidewalls which cause them to slip easier in icy conditions.
Anyways I hope this info help. If you still wanna stick with 19" it's your call/car

So the stock 19's are 19X7.5?
I had a line on a used set and was thinking about throwing them on my IS350. Doesn't sound like a setup I want if they are that narrow.
