thanks so much for this detailed reply, really appreciate it and it will definitely help when i start fixing it up.
last night i made up my mind to sell the car, so went to take pictures of it just now,
but the more pictures i took, the more im back in love with it...
and then realizes that i got a pretty good deal for the money i paid.
so im just gonna keep it, and eventually, fix all the problems it has,
and drive it until it gives up on me.

Well not to be an jerk but why would you wait a couple days to check the oil? usually when the oil light comes on damage is done. Maybe you could have someone swap a 2jzgte if current motor un able to be salvaged.
