I bought some from Car Parts for like $25 or something.

They are OK, Very Cheapy Cheap.
The bulbs were atrocious. They do not fit correctly, to loose.
Used my old bulbs and added the rubber rings from the new ones.

Might want to get a better set of bulbs to go with this purchase.

Im gonna throw in some Polarg H4's in the side....So if there is no difference I'll buy the cheaper ones off ebay. Is there anyway to try and curtail the fogging?

One of the ebay sellers says to: "Moisture problem: In some cases, customer may experience moisture or fog inside the headlamps, taillamps, corner/bumper/sidemarker lamps. Please apply some sealing silicon around the edges of the lamps to solve the problem. We are not responsible or exchange if moisture or fog get into the lamps. "

I guess ill try that...

i got my side market for 30 bucks and it's holding up great. i have m4 in them as well. during the past few days it's been raining like crazy and it's still good. fogged up a bit but it's only the side (those reflective area), nothing close to the bulb lightning area. so i guess it's all good

The other alternative to the clear markers is to paint your lenses with lens paint... I saw a black GS on here w/ smoked lenses (can't remember who's it was off the top of my head - sorry), and it looked TIGHT. Much cleaner look IMO than the clear markers, and you won't have any moisture problems. I was thinking about getting clear markers for my RX for a long time, but just ordered the smoke lens paint last week.
I know you didn't ask about this, but I figured it's relevant... just trying to help.
Good luck!

That would be mine, thanks for the compliment

They sell the lens spray in a number of colors (I seem to recall that clear is one of them), but not sure what putting a lighter color over the yellow would do.

Ahh, that's right!

Hey DaveGS4 - I think you should paint your calipers black... I think it'd look VERY clean w/ the rest of your setup in black w/ smoked lenses and all. Just a thought... or you could photochop first to see how it'd look. That just came to me as I was looking at the pic you posted. Either way that's a phat ride - nice rims too - DEFINATELY my style - nice and classy, but not too understated. I can't stand it when I look at a car and all you see/notice is the rims - yours are perfect man.

Thanks again! Funny you should say that, I've had the high-temp black paint sitting on the shelf for a couple of months waiting for enough time to paint them.

I did the silver G2 paint when I put the Supra TT calipers on (didn't do a great job painting either), but as soon as I saw it with the wheels I realized that black would look much better. Too many shades of silver now. When I do the black, I'm going to put a coat of high-temp laquer overtop for a bit of gloss.

Sorry for the brake detour, back to your regularly scheduled marker lens discussion!

Sounds great! Post pics when you get to it - that'll look great!

I apologize for the detour as well... Topics were somewhat related, but yet, not... Different, but same.
