Think this thread has inspired me to put some boards in mine when I splice the wires for my led side mirrors!
Nice man. Always glad to see others get ideas and help from a simple question. Everyone on here seems so helpful and cool. I am new here and I fell welcomed.

I know what you are saying but the bulbs I got were 3-SMD from here and there are no wires.

Only one side of the floor board light is lit up. I was thinking of taking a wire brush and maybe cleaning the socket up. Hope that helps.

Well I will try and clean out the socket and see if it helps. My bulbs don't have wires. :-(

It helps when females can see when they reach for their purse or if you drop something lol.

Well I have no play at all. It's just I think there's a bad contact. Maybe thinking about scrubbing it a bit with a wire brush. Hope that takes care of the problem.
Thanks everyone for your support and advise. I will try the brush tonight and update you guys.

So, what's the consensus on this? I happened across this thread by accident, but am actually in the process of trying to decide on what bulbs to order...

I was leaning towards

http://store.ijdmtoy.com/ProductDeta...KU206&CartID=1

But wonder if there will be fitment issues?

Thanks!

Those would work to as long as the bulbs are #74 they will fit. The post above that I replied about has a link from v-leds.com and they are legit.

Actually I forgot to update this thread. I actually cleaned out the connectors with a bit of alcohol and a q-tip. Actually worked. Both bulbs light up now and are the perfect brightness.

Got a set. Perfect fit for footwell, not as wide of a light spread as I'd like, but decent.
