I'm new to this forum, even though I've been reading it for several months.

I own a 2001 GS430. I recently left my windows down, and the sprinkler system kicked on, damaging my radio head unit. Only a few buttons aren't working correctly (AM, FM, TAPE, DISK, and a few others) and sometimes the display doesn't work correctly. I think the best thing to do is just replace it with a used head unit.

I found a good deal on one, but it is the Mark Levinson model, which is not the sound system that mine has. Could that still work on mine? Doesn't the Mark Levinson system just refer to the speakers? It appears that the only difference between mine and this ML unit is strictly the "Mark Levinson" logo. Any help would be appreciated, as I am trying to take care of this as quickly as I can.

make a picture of your head unit and post here, as far as i know 01 gs430 was equipt with ML sound system
