Default Overheating experts help me out.

Ok, so I pull over becuase I noticed bit of smoke coming from the hood area at the light and temp started to rise. I checked and it was steaming from the tube thats attached to the resevoir, No leaks whats so ever. So I put coolant in the resevior and seemed to be fine. Hours pass by happens again. So I checked my upper hose and seen that it had no presure, so I figured it was the thermostat. Changed it and changed the radiator cap just cause. Now after everything changed eveything still nothing...still overheats. Fan doesnt kick on either. How do I check if blower fan is good

You might have air trapped in the system. When the car is cold take off the radiator cap and start the car with the heater on. You will probably notice that even though you thought the coolant was full you still need to add more. Top off the coolant and you should be ok.

To check the fan, find which wire is power which is ground and put direct power to it.

I havent seen how many wires are on the plug (havent seen it) if its a simple 2 wire fan you can do the above. Also check the relay to the fan.
