Parted with my Miata yesterday. Sad to see it go but after 10 years of ownership it was time. The kid that bought it came in his stock Miata and drove mine back with his buddy driving his the 100 miles back to their place. I got a call after a few hours explaining that my heavily modified car made it back and that his bone stock Miata broke down on the way. I guess I know how to build a car ha. Most recent update on the GS: Resonator removed from the exhaust and it now sounds like a ricy v8 (hatred) and the new sway bar bushings have changed the ride and handling substantially. More to come soon of my super rice edition exhaust...

 

My megan lowering springs should be shoring up to my work today (ordered them 3.5 months ago...). Got my achilles 225/35/19 and 245/35/19 tires in a few days ago and my Varrstoen full polish 19x9.5 +12/10.5 +12 should be showing up in about a week. I'll post pictures of my pile-o-parts when I get a chance. Can't wait to be lower. As it sits now it's just got exhaust and rolling around town I feel like a completely stock GS4 with only exhaust seems kinda lame... Can't wait to get the parts on!

I loved the Miata but I work for Scion and I recently got to autocross the FR-S at a training event... It's a RIDICULOUS car. It's like an infinitely more serious Miata. Best handling car Toyota has ever made.

 

Megan springs are here after a 3 1/2 month wait... Parts pile pics coming when I get home from work!

 

Got the springs on after 8 hours of busting apart the 14 year old suspension. It's been raining off and on here so I haven't had a chance to get pictures but I will def have some up by tomorrow. Rims are still not here... 1300 bucks and not even a tracking number... The megan springs look great on the 400. I think the heavier motor helps level the car out a little more. Front RCA's will be my next purchase. Where is the best place to get a set?

 

Picking up my rims and tires today and then fitting and rolling fenders tonight after work. Can't get into my photobucket account to post pics so right now... sadly just more words as updates... Pics SOON! My rims are 19x9.5/10.5 with a +12 offset so rolling and probably pulling will be required of the fenders. Stoked!

 

Wish I could switch my interior to gray...
