Do you have a picture of your fog lights?

I have a 3000K HID kit from Mod Express w/ the yellow capsule and it turned out green. I'd like to see 5000K bulbs with the yellow capsule.

^^It all depends where you guys get the kits from ( quality ) I have yellow capsules with a 3k kit I got from TSPNY I got the nice golden yellow I was looking for, the only 2 things I don't like is that they start off green for like 30 sec. and then get yellow, and I don't like that you can tell a difference in color from the left to the right, one is more yellow than the other. Next kit I'm trying out is from xenondepot, I heard they don't start off green and are golden yellow.

^^ well the thing is on the road they don't seem that bright, even though they are, something about human eye doesn't register yellow as bright as white light. It was more of an experiment for me cuz I never had yellow fogs before. I think il go to clear lens with purple fogs later.

I had yellow 3000K HID fogs on my current Pearl white GS300, and my championship white Acura RSX...
Mine were a nice golden yellow and very bright! I think they looks amazing on the RSX...
However I just switched my fogs out to 6000K like my headlights, I think it looks better all white on the GS,
but that's just me. I still like the yellow look, just think on a white gs all 6000k cleaner. ~shrug~

i got two seperate 3000K HID kits for the fogs. one was $40 and another $60. Both of them emits green even after 2-3 hours with them on.

What price range are you folks looking at when speaking of "quality" 3000HID kits?

I bought the xenondepot for like 90-100$ I think. They start off light green for about 10-15 seconds then turn a nice golden color. I'm running yellow capsule stock fogs.

^ really? i should have just forked over $100 rather than going 40 here and 60 there with cheap ballast kits. got any recommendations for me? is it really yellow or just a bright yellow with a hint of green hue?

I think it's a nice golden yellow without any green. Except only in start up like I mentioned above. Xenondepot is a vendor on here, look them up in the classifieds.

just a quick question, do you have to hook up a harness from the battery to the foglights?

No, most kits are plug-and-play so you don't have to. I would, but it's not necessary at all.
