For sure a good wax after cleaning is key to keeping it cleaner for longer. Car washes at a drive thru lot will absolutely destroy the paint and make it look like somebody had rocks in the rag. STAY AWAY

I pay a car wash to do it... $13 to hand wash and vacuum also wipe all glasses and mirrors. I'm not doing it by hand. especially since I don't have a driveway

i wash mine at least 3 to 4 times Fla. rains are unpredictable specially dark color cars. Non the less its a labor i enjoy nothing like a clean gs.

I just wiped my car down thoroughly because these damn stray cats around my house think my car is the place to chill. Even though my car is not dirty what so ever, its getting bathed on Friday.

Thinking about giving the GS a full detail this weekend as they call for very nice weather. But we all know the forecasters, they can be wrong. I love rubbing against the car with my shorts after I finish waxing the car. Hopefully I am not the only one, it just feels amazing and awesome. It's not everyday you get to rub your pants against a cleanly waxed car

I use a pellet gun for the local cats!!! They don't come in my yard anymore.
