Default '05 amp harness



the two blue wires im holding are the sub outputs, but i dont know which one is negative or positive. does anyone know for sure?

splicing into my amp harness.

tried doing some searching but it seems like everyones wires are different color than mine for the subwoofer wires.

I would think the blue/black would be negative and the blue/red would be positive.

thats exactly what i figured. black is usually negative and red is positive.

but on a search result here on cl.com someone said black was positive and red negative. his wires was green though, not blue like mine. so not sure if this changes things.

anyone here have dealt with the exact same color combination?

get a voltmeter out. one lead to ground and the red to the harness, which ever shows voltage is positive
