Ever checked the speed on your GPS while driving? The GPS will show a slower speed than your speedo.

The Gtech would be more accurate, yes.
I definitely wouldnt assume a GPS device displays accurate speed even though some of them are pretty good. GPS accuracy depends on a bunch of variables, mainly the amount of satellites the receiver is picking up and the present time... The more satellites, the more accurate. Unless we're talking about military grade stuff, which is a different ball game...

speeds on the speedo are accurate long as you dont mess with the OD of the tires.

I have never seen such a thing, at least in Europe I haven't. Speedos always show less here. My Toyota actually does 110 when the speedo indicates 120.

Forget a dyno, just go to the 1/4 mile and get some real world times.

i'm down!!!! but I'm sure Glen would still beat me. His car has quite a few more performance oriented mods than mine does. Dam I wish my car would have been ready to race at the pursuit

Funny thing is since it's been Supercharged I havent really gotten into any races. But Maybe thats cuz I blip the throttle and let them hear the bov, after that most don't go Actually I was next to an e63 and he was messing with me, but there was traffic. As soon as it cleared up a bit, he took off so I did as well. I know how fast those cars are so maybe he wasn't really flooring it but it seemed like it and he wasn't really pulling on me, and he took off first.

thanks !! The exhaust is deep actually. Not really loud at all, especially at idle or cruising speed.

Not sure if that will happen either, due to me selling the car. But like I said before, If it takes a while to sell the supercharger, then I will enjoy it and possibly fine tune it, dyno it, and go to the track. We'll see in time. I wonder how much better my times would be with a proper tune and lsd(and wider tires)?

Did you do any tranny modifications? How does the tranny like the extra power?

I'm gonna have to look into this more. Because right now I don't see why it would be designed/setup like that.

Almost all speedo's are not accurate (~2/3mph) unless they are certified like the crown vic p71's

Is that common? Just noticed that on mine this morning, 2.5-3 mph off everywhere. Means my mpg cals are off a fair bit....

Do you still have the open diff?
