Kbb sucks. They are usually showing more value then there really is. NADA is better. Dealers are using the black book these days.

I bought my 00 gs300 w/ 140,000 miles in perfect condition for 8,500 over a year and half ago from a 71yr old dentist who bought new.

If you need $500 in repairs just start with the front suspension(bushing and ball joints)

What's the best source , other than NADA which seems to be more dealer oriented?
Looking to do private party for more $$

Congrats on the car. Personally I think that you paid a little over for the car with the mileage. But I'm pretty sure that you're happy with the purchase. Don't worry, what's done is done, enjoy your GS! I love mine, just couple tweaks that need to be fixed.

The car is not as immaculate as I said it to be . I lied , but I was just excited lol. There are a couple rock chips and stuff in the front but everything else is pretty clean. I'm at Lexus now getting the car checked, hopefully everything is good.

It's just stock but I'll get pictures. It's the Platinum Edition

I honestly don't think anyone on here has a flawless bumper without atleast one rock chip. Congrats on the purchase bro.

Get those ball joints checked ASAP!!!

The previous owner had the bumper resprayed before he sold it lucky me!

But a few rock chips is fine just touch it up with some touch up paint. Picture now!

Looks like I will be needing to replace the ball joints. I've read that it's a pretty easy and cheap(er) DIY? I'll be doing that this weekend if it is.

It's dark but here are some pics.

These cars came with HIDs? Damn I should have searched more. I would have preferred those colors and a v8 but I needed a car quickly.
