I'm a little baffled and need some he'll involving the factory hide on my 98 gs400. The car has been sitting for 4 month at the most. 3 months ago my brother needed hid bulbs so I took the bulbs out my car and gave them to him. Well today he tried to put some new bulbs in but they will not come on...park lights work but hids don't..he is using d2s bulbs someone gave him that are suppose to be new. I know ourcars take d2r bulbs but they still should come on if they are new.the car has been driven 4 times without bulbs since they have been removed. They were working before I removed them. Any ideas why now they aren't...need help.....

 

make sure the light switch is not on high beam

 

try the bulbs in your car to make sure they are good...
