i did 20's. i think for the size and shape of the car they look perfect. i have seen 19's slammed and tucked and they also look good. also rememebr most people do staggered lips and i always feel that the deep dish rims always look smaller the deeper they are. With 20's u can go deep and still keep a "full" look.

But also as someone mentioned...probably more expensive for 19" tires than it is for 20".

It all depends on the look u wanna achieve

If u plan to have a bodykit then 20's

If not and you want the car to sit lower 19's.

How about doing 19's up from and 20's in the rear, That's what I did but 20's are hard to fit if you want to run a aggressive wheel and ride the car low....

thanks for the input

was kind of thinking people were going 19's mainly to just get the body fo the car it's self that much lower (and from responses that looks about right).

so i'll stay with my first thought of staggered 20" after i do some coil overs next season.

if i had to do it again i would get 20's instead of my 19's.....20's tires are so much cheaper. all odd size tires seem to be like when i had 17's on my integra/civic/delsol

If you set up your wheels to OEM specs, neither 19s nor 20s will make a difference as far as clearance, fender gap, and sitting lower.

Traditionally, with 19s, people can run a staggered 35/30 front rear aspect ration combo and still stay near OEM spec. With 20s, people used to run 35/30 combos for 2 main reasons: 1 - More sidewall and 2 - there used to not be as many options to run OEM spec with a 30/25 combo. There are a few more manufacturers with this sizing now and that helps issue 2. With issue 1, the drawback is that the diameter is about 1" taller than OEM.

Now, with the VIP, stretch option, camber, shave/roll, ...the traditional sizing goes out the door. There are just way too many variables and it comes down to what YOU plan to do with YOUR car. I have my opinions and needs, and that's how I built my setup.
