Default ok guys, need ur help...

I need ammo so i'll be ready to go in the dealership w/ exactly what I want.....

1st things 1st, i've been reading ur forums for quite awhile, and the majority have been super helpful, thanks..

Im going to either purchase a 02-03 GS430, but if they have a 01 super cheap than ill jump on that, but im more keen to buy a new one...

anyways, heres where u guys come in..

When i bought my acura I bought everything aftermarket and it came out to be much cheaper, therefore the question i have is, Is there a stock GS430 that I can buy, or is there a certain something(packages) u recommend me to buy that are probably better to buy at the dealership than aftermarket??

Since i've been reading in CL, the things that I want are;
1)spoiler kit, all-around(side, back, front).cheaper at dealership, or somwhere else?
2)the wing in the back.
3)I always like cars that have less gap between the wheel(BMW look) and the body of the car, so w/ that, i presume i need springs? but i always here u guys talk about L-line springs w/ shocks are theses things necessary?can i just use H&R's?
4)I dont like nav to be honest, and the mark levinson, not to big on that b/c i usually buy everything else later, meaning amp, and what not?
5)Is there any other options that I should know about, i dont want to get suckered into buying something that should already be included...
6)the main thing is i wanna keep the car stock, im done w/ the whole rim thing, it seems like im always bending them b/c i drive to fast...
7)wood trim, internet sites, or dealership?
I'll appreciate any feedback, i just want to buy the car and feel like I got a good-deal...
thanks...and hopefully i'll be joining u guys real soon...

1) skirts/lips/bumpers, go aftermarket.

2) wing (spoiler) - get factory one (removes rear deck brake light too which can't be done aftermarket without spending a bundle).

3) L-Tuned springs/shocks - negotiate a good deal from the dealer ($1000 or less installed)

4) no need to get nav/ml if you don't like 'em

5) ?

6) okey dokey

7) ??

You can get factory looking spoiler from Lexus-Parts.com for $249 painted and shipped! They are not el-cheapo. They are made out of polyurethane.

Get the chrome 17" wheel option and wood steering wheel. It comes out cheaper from the dealer.

Re-evaluate your position re navigation. That was exactly how I felt when we purchased the RX (before the GS purchase). After having used the nav in the GS for a while, I know I made a blunder with not getting the nav for the RX. I said before, why pay thousands of dollars for an "electronic Thomas Guide"? That statement was too simplistic and did not take into account what the Lexus Nav can do. In my opinion, the thousands of dollars for the NAV is worth it.

Have you had a chance to look at the L-Tuned Products?? If not, you should. If you buy your car new, you could probably work out a pretty good deal on all the L-Tuned performance parts you want (wheels, suspension, steering ecu etc.). In my opinion, the L-Tuned products are the happy median between performace and luxury.

I'm with WhiteLS, get the NAV. I swore to myself that I wouldn't use or need NAV and boy am I happy that I have it. Seriously, how cool is it to "never" get lost? Very cool!
