JDM Power folding mirror install
Does anybody have a diy of the power folding mirror install. When I did my search I found a thread that went dead last year where the poster never updated whether he got the power folding aspect to work or not. So if anybody can post some diy instructions, it will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

this is what he said about them to me
I got them to work! It took a few skilled guys to make me a module and me to figure out how to still be able to use them since the mirrors sit differently on the for the japenese market.
I had to give up a lot of features to get these bad boys to work but I will try and fix that over time. So far the memory option makes them go halo and the motors wont stop spinning even though the navigator piece is off the motor. I also had to give up the heated option.

do you have picture of the wiring harness?
maybe we can match up the harness with the USDM non-folding one... to eliminate the obvious... and focus on wut is needed to get it working?
i wonder is it negative trigger or if module is needed.
be nice if you have pig tail on both parts so we can try to match it up.

Hi everyone,
I am that member that Brian speaks about.
In the JDM market, most cars come equipped with power folding mirrors. This is mostly because their streets are very narrow.
The biggest upset is that their mirrors are the exact opposite, our passenger side is their driver, and vice versa. As a result, the passenger mirror angles further than our stock US ones. If you guys are interested in power mirrors for the gs, I highly recommend a set from Saudi Arabia, they are the exact ones that we have except power!
The module that comes stock on the JDM is similar to the one that we have in our door (I might be mistaken about this since I'm not the one who installed these). However, the wiring is completely different and the shop just tested each individual wire to see what it did and was able to restore the mirror movement feature.
When you use the memory function, the module seems to be sending the signal backwards and the mirrors bug out. Another issue is that automatic mirrors are NOT heated! That is an option that you loose.
The module that was set up for the mirrors is a timing one. When I flip the switch, it tells them to move in a direction for 15 seconds? I also had to install a stopper to stop the passenger mirror to open entirely, since like I mentioned before, it has a larger viewing angle.
I also purchased the OEM switch off of the aristo, but it didn't fit, its a bit wider and there is no coin compartment.
I am busy for the next couple of days, but I will try to take a few pictures to help you guys out with as much information as possible.
