I guess nobody cares about this sticky up top ( https://www.clublexus.com/forums/gs-...-gs-forum.html) that say's help each other out rather than post insults and such. No need to bash people for improper spelling or grammar. Just ask a few more questions, I'm sure we can figure it out.

There is a shim kit for the valves. but they rarely need adjustment. I think I've only heard about a hand full of people needing this done, since I've joined this forum some years ago.
What has you concerned? Are you hearing some ticking (sounds like valve tap) that might be injectors pulsing which is normal? Let us know.

If you dont know if the valve lash can be adjusted or not...I suggest you bring the car to a mechanic who is familiar with your vehicle.

Communication is an important aspect of life. If you are unable to communicate effectively then I suggest you avoid using Internet forums. Yes, they be adjusted. http://bahamutcars.free.fr/workshop/...nts/index.html See Repair -> Engine Mechanical (3UZ) - Valve clearance. It is a complicated procedure for a novice. But a ticking noise can be many things. "no what i mean?"

this thread is closed. everyone before you post, please read the post on sense of community. if you don't know how to follow that, do not post. a lot of posts in this thread are unnecessary and borderline insulting. i will let this be a formal public warning to all those involved (you know very well if you are one of them). do not let this happen again otherwise it will be much more than just a locked thread.

OP, seems like your question has been answered. if you need further help, please feel free to start another thread
