I dont know about everyone else chickening out here. Me personally, if i dont know something, i research, research, research until my brian near maximum GTE capacity and potential nuclear meltdown. Then, when i finally understand the concept/process/procedure for a proper swap, ill attemp it myself. Thats what i find enjoyable about working on cars. There is something much more satisfying about doing it yourself vs paying someone. But then again, thats just me. I couldnt even air up my own tires before my first GTE swap. This is a great learning opportunity for the OP. Its not as bad as ppl make it out to be once you research a bit. GL.

Thats how I feel SZA. I am no stranger to motor swaps, although I have never done a GTE swap...but with a little patience and some planning, it can be done with a basic set of tools and some rented equipment from your local auto parts store
