Yeah, these are tips only and they are the exact ones I am selling. The borla exhaust was too loud for me, and I think I sold them to you. How do you like the sound of the borla's. Are you thinking of going back to stock and just getting the tips? If so, let me know and I will hook you up on the tips.

Yeah, I got your Borla's... $hit I bought them off of you before I even had my GS... I thought maybe wifey gave up or started liking the sound of deep thoaty cars... As for the exhausts I'm giving them to my mechanic at Lexus, he hooks me up with everything. Everytime I brake something, trying to do little MODS he had it fixed under warranty, even my airbag that I punched a hole in was replaced under warranty... But I'm going with a cat-back now because I'm in the mists of putting that little thing you call TURBO in my GS now.... Oh and as for the sound I really like the Borla's.... Thanks, Drew...

Very nice Drew. Looks great (and somehow very familiar )!

Lev - I think I've exchanged PMs w/ you before about the L-tuned kit with factory 17's, there should be a bunch of pics in the gallery w/my black GS before I got my new wheels (even down to the platinum badging!) Check with Steve Ganz on price as well to compare, but if you're in CA you might want to pick someone who is out of state to 'postpone' paying the tax since this is a fairly high $$ item.

Very nice touch with the TTE front spoiler and the L-tuned skirts. Hmmmmm, I may have to consider getting those skirts to match my TTE.....Overall, very very nice.....

Major thanks to Dave"DaveGS4" as he is the true pioneer behind this setup. We had exchange some emails before and he was truly the driving force behind my decision on this setup as I loved the look on his car.... very classy and clean and nothing too over the top.

Now all I need is a bad *** NSX!!!

I think this setup is more pronounced on lighter color cars, so consider this as well and I think Dave could attest too this as well.

Dave what do you think about your new brakes and new rims? Money well spent? Ever get those calipers painted and stickers mounted?

Thanks for the kind words Drew. I agree - L-tuned skirts definitely stand out more on lighter colored cars. Looks nice. On black its more of a stealth mod.

Brakes and rims - have them all on, but calipers still need to be painted. Not sure if I'm going to do the stickers at all, think I might just leave them off.

Money on wheels/brakes was well spent, changed the look of my GS dramatically. Get noticed much more than before (not always good , nice comments from folks at lights and gas stations). Handling IMO is a bit worse than with the 17's, but traction is a little better. Brake upgrade eliminated the mushy brake pedal feeling AND contributed much to the looks.

Overall - car is starting to take on the 'evil GS' look I like so much. Now I just need those twin turbos !

Dave, you said the handling got worse than the 17's. So the 18in is worse off in the handeling department. You should reconsider painting your calibers black and slapping on a sticker. I think it would add the the stealth look you seek.

Here is mine with the wheels off.

mrsypher - thanks!

Drew - Ride is a 'litttle' rougher (not much) with the 18's. Thinking back on it, I'm not sure handling is that much worse (not much, again) but instead I am less certain of what the car will do now when I push the envelope. Check back in another couple of months when I get more used to the 18's and exactly how far I can push them.

Yep, I'm thinking of black or a dark cast color (the same color I painted my SRT intake with that matches the TRD STB). I'm not a fan of the silver I put on the front - too many different colors of silver going on inside the wheel. Your pics do look nice with the stickers though... I'll have to hold them up once I get it painted and make the decision. Maybe just the little 'L' on all four.
