Just wondering. I think I may have gotten the L-tuned exhaust instead of the Borlas....

I would have gotten the 18's instead of 19's.
And probably a full body kit instead of my Greddy lip, and RMM side skirts

Default Whoa!

Sick...you took the words right out of my mouth. Don't get me wrong I really love the way they sound, but I am EXTREMELY disappointed in the quality of the hanger system. (See previous threads, I ******ed enough about them there.)

Oh yeah and getting 18s instead of 17s...but I'm hoping to do something about that real soon!

I'm working on the drone - will let ya know how it works out.

And yes, the Borla hanger system is a kludge and it breaks.

The L-Tuned exhaust uses the factory hangers so it's not a problem.

lexciting - that funny.
I wish I would have gotten 19 instead of 18s.
How come do you want to go to the 18"?

I also wished I had done a free air drop in instead of a 10" in an enclosed box in the trunk.

The GS is just to well insulated for sound and the bass is always late.

I wish I had waited and goten the black interior instead of gray.

that about it..... OH! I wish I had won the lotto so I can get a couple of other mad cars like 911 turbo and M5 and SL55 and so on.

that's funny after reading all your posts so far.

I wish I had a Borla instead of the L-Tuned because I am getting tired of that deep resonance noise at low rpm.

I wish I had gone with 19" staggered instead of 18" staggered setup...... I know GS4will will solve my problem next year......hehee

alexulan - Well, I would have gone with the 18's instead of 19's just for performance. 19's are a lot heavier, but with the TT, it should really matter. But looking at GS400_PUSHER's wheels, now I think I should have gone UP to 20's! lol I am just not ever statisfied.

Oh yeah, I wish I would have seen the CL thread about the water getting in the headlight housing before my factory warranty ran out!!!!!

Default Wished I had waited

My list is long....
I wish that I had waited before buying 16" chrome aftermarket wheels on the same day that I bought my GS. (Didn't get good advice and didn't do any research) Thanks to ClubLexus I am rolling a little better now.

I wish that I had not bought a fake WIN rear bumper and side skirts and L-tuned suspension. (I broke the side skirts the first day on spead bumps at my kid's school. I had the L-tuned removed the next day and a few months later, I broke the rear bumper on a steep driveway and had it removed)

I wish that I had waited before buying the Borla exhaust. No one was complaining about the drone back then. I could only stand it for 3 days before I had it removed.

I wish that I had waited to buy a pre owned GS400 instead of buying a brand new GS300 for $45K even though I drive like a grandma. I'm a cruiser not a racer. I feel so inadequate compared to my other CL brothers .

Edit (I thought of something else):
I wish that the GX470 had been on the market in '99 when I bought my GS.

And the number 1 thing that I wish is: I wish that I hadn't seen Jazziz '01 tail lights. Now I have to spend some more money.
