I recently sold my 02' SC430 with 163k miles to CarMax for $7000. Try taking it to CarMax and see what they will offer you. I think $7000 for 02' SC430 with 163k miles was a reasonable offer by CarMax.

02 sc430 for 7000 is not a good offer when you can sell it all day youself for 10k

Did you check to see how much they sold it for? A while back, a buddy of mine sold a Maxima to CarMax for 9k. They went and sold it for 15k after fixing a few things.

I sold my 03 GS430 with ML/Nav and 150K miles this past Feb for $5000. It was a little low, but at that price it moved fast. In this economy at $7000 it would have been a PITA to sell with all the negotiators out there. For this particular GS400 I know I wouldn't pay more than $4500 for it myself.

Considering my coilovers were failing causing my tires to have dip marks and lots of other minor issue along with rear bumper having a damage with paints chipping off. I don't think any individual would be willing to purchase the car. I think they sell those car off in auction for reseller who plans to take the car apart and sell them in parts. CarMax or most dealer will not sale cars with over 70k miles.

As I mentioned earlier, most dealers including CarMax will not resale any cars with 70k miles or more in their lot.

Cars in general are worth 31/2 times their value if you take them apart.

I found this searching through all of Craiglist, he is selling a 400 with 115,000 miles for $2800. I have 145,000 miles on mine, I would try and sell it for 6000-7000.

those scratches are both on the lower portion of the rear bumper. I'm pretty confident that noone would key/vandalize the car only on the rear bumper. Im not sure exactly where they came from though
