Default Oxygen Sensor Question

Hey guys,

I recently replaced my stock exhaust manifold, with an OBX. Let me just say, it sounds AWESOME with the new headers and my Tanabe exhaust.

Anyway, I put the stock O2 sensors in the new headers/manifold (whatever you want to call it). I went to plug them in, and realized there in the wrong places. Knowing that, I had also realized that I have a sensor with jacked up threads, which I had to play with to get on the manifold, knowing it wouldn't come off.
With this in mind, I was going to swap the harnesses around so they all fit the right female ends. Can I do this?

Lastly, I have run my car a few times (even up the street) without the o2 hooked up. I have NO CEL, worst case, can I just leave them not hooked up? or would I need to for it to work with my SRT box?

Thanks

EDIT: Incase the info is needed, the midpipe o2 and the lower o2 on cylinders 4-6 is also hooked up.

You will get a cel after some miles if something isn't hooked up right.

I'm confused, are you saying you accidentally swapped the post-cat and pre-cat or you just reversed the two pre-cat sensors with each other? If you just swapped the two pre-cats your fine they are the same sensor.

You should be fine with swapping the female connectors.

You need a sensor simulator. Read the DIY for header installs:

I know I need a sim. I was hoping I wouldn't have to get one...

With headers there's no escape. Also, expect more black residue on your tail pipe.
