Someone from California...I wonder who it was and if it is a current CL member. I just saw his thread (I havn't looked it up in about 6 mos...I remember when it was first up for sale in the mid $30K range. The last price I saw was $26K...CRAP! I would have given my car plus equivalent of cash for this...another $10K. I would have DEFINITELY did this. Damn, timing is everything and I missed out. The ONLY thing I would have re-done would have been the interior to all one color...black leather.

What a great looking car! I am going to miss the pics of her.

Yeah Veritek told me over the weekend...got a chance to see her a couple of times and it was one of the all time great modified cars. Congrats to the new owner!

I think alot of people here would have been prone to pick it up if they weren't mid project with their own GS already.. If I hadn't bought my GS yet or not started sinking money into it yet I would have bought his car for the $30k he asked a while back..

Oh well, somebody out there has the sickest GS engine bay in country now let's hope they join up so we can see what changes they make to the car and hope they don't do anything to stupid to such a tastefully clean vehicle..

Yeah I am sad about it. I was hoping that Bing would get it so I could buy it later down the road. One of my favorite GS of all time. I will always have a bunch of pics that I took of it for inspiration.

There was nothing in my mind to do to that car other than better suspension mods, solid color interior, and more power.

I talked to my s/o last night about looking to pick it up. I was going to put my GS for sale and take what I got for it and throw the rest of cash his way. Looks like someone else already beat me to his deal. For $26k -- if it came as it was for $30k+ that person got a steal, considering you can't really pick up a low mileage, clean GS for under $15k.

That car was one of my original inspirations to want a GS back when I was on here with an ES in 02-03. True work of art. Hope the new owner takes care of it!
