im installing a new sound sustem in my 2000 Gs... when i pulled the door panels off to replace and dynamat them.... there is the plastic waterproofing stuff held on by black glue.....do i take that off so the dynamat will have more to stick to??? or dynamat over it???? thanks!!!!!

 

would be kind of hard to put matting on the clear plastic. remove it.
