I bought a set of the Sonar (thick clear bar) tails from them about 3 years ago. These were supposed to be the high quality reliable ones at the time, I had a bank of LED's go out on one of the outers after about 5 months and couldn't get a response from k2 about a replacement or even contact info to try to buy a replacement. I got the tails from them quickly without any problems but follow up customer service was non-existant.

The big money tails definitely look better if you can afford them; I'd have a hard time trusting the thin clears off ebay with all the problems I have heard, obviously the Sonar's aren't bulletproof either as I found out.

I ordered my red/smoke insurance tails from Justin @ eliteauto. Besides tge prive, i couldnt be happier. Paid 625 shipped, got em in 2 days.

The new batches ebay sells should come with resisters already.

Yes some do come with resistors but the quality of the led's itself are suspect.
