Default Removing Intake Manifold

Working on a starter rebuild and just about (I think) have the manifold ready to come off but there are 8 blue electrical connectors that attach to the pink things (sorry), 4 on each side. I can't figure out how to remove them, does anyone know if there's a trick? I'm nervous about forcing anything and it's a little tight so I can't get a great grip on them.

Trying to get this wrapped up tonight so any help is appreciated.

Thanks.
Jeff

theres a sticky on the GS forums about all the DIY's. click on it and scroll down till you see a DIY about engines or something and try looking for intake manifolds. if not, press the good ol' search button :]

Thanks. I spent a ton of time researching and nothing got down to this level of detail. I finally was able to get them off but they were a real PITA. Very hard to get to. Thanks for the reply.
