Just going to throw what I think the above break down means... seeing the last numers are the rate out of 100... Since the GS ranges from 1-3 its very low on the list.

Meaning it hardly if ever gets stolen, and insurance based off theft would be low.

The only logical way that your gs could most likely get stolen is if you leave your keys in the ignition and put an open sign on the door, otherwise i would think that your safe with keeping your car in your hands

The only things I would worry about is getting your wheels, lips, spoiler, visors, sound system stolen. Besides that the only other thing is women wanting to steal your heart

With a GS, you might have the windows busted in and some parts taken, but it's not as likely for the whole car to be driven away unless it's towed.
I've heard in some cases that shady tow companys will accept a bribe from thieves and will tow cars no questions asked.

Then again, if someone wants something bad enough, they'll find a way to get it.
Thats pretty smart, it will slow them down, but thats better than letting them get what they want in a hurry.

if you vehicle is a normal daily driven there is almost no worries unless a chop shop is in need of parts and like stated above towed away. saw one a few months back of a GS completely gutted and dropped off right at one of the busiest intersections in brklyn NY. "bay parkway & 18th avenue"
Yup, anyone can do a kill switch, but you have to out smart them by hiding them in places no one will look. People say Cali is notorious for car jacking but other states are even worse.

Don't say that! *Knock on wood.*

Straight off of the NHTSA web site.
Thank you, this is what I was looking for. It seems the older the year the higher the theft rate.

LOL you guys are funny. My mind is made up, I'm on the hunt for a GS300. Thank you guys for the help. My mind is a lot more at ease. Does anyone want to buy an Acura Integra as a beater or something?

I would love to get a GS430, but gas is going to be a killer. Plus I see a lot more 300's on Craigslist than I do see 400/430's.

Oh I wouldn't be surprised if the ITR was jacked. If I were to get one I wouldn't even bother with any basic alarm system. I would've went straight to the GPS tracking device. I heard that thing works wonders.

Ok so tonight I walk outside to go to the store and a tow truck is parked in the parking spot next to me in my apartment complex( i park in the back spots not the front nearest to the building because i don't want people near my car walking in and out of the building)

It's 11 o'clock at nite and the guy just looks suspicious, there's no one outside or around just him parked next to me backed into a parking spot

I walk to my car get in and soon as i get in my car the guy pulls off

At this point i'm already paranoid thinking this just doesn't look or feel rite
I see the name of the tow company on the side of the truck(should've got the license plate too)

So me being paranoid and nervous i call the tow company and ask them if they sent anyone of there guys to my apartment complex tonight..........The guy tells me NO so i tell him what i saw and he again tells me that none of his guys were supposed to be in that area and i just hung up cus i was pissed

Now Am i just paranoid or was this guy plotting on stealing my car(which is stock other than tails and HID"s) but it's excellent shape and it's black.

I'm really paranoid

What you guys think was something about to go down soon? Could the company be shady possibly or am i overreacting?

P.S. I don't live in the ghetto by the way I live in the burbs
