Max wide REAR wheels for performance tires ...
I need to install maximum wide REAR wheels without any fender work (may be light shaving, but not more).
I have read all topics here about wheel fitment but did't found answer ...
What maximume wide for REAR wheels is possible?
I want to purchase drag tires - HOOSIER Drag Radial 315/30R18 or 335/30R18 (only this sizes for R18).
At minimum i need to install 10.5J for 315s, but best size is 11J.
For 335s i need 12J rims.
Please help me to make right choice without problems with fitment.
Thanks in advance!

i'm currently running 285/30/19 in the rear.
previously i was running 295/30/19 in the rear.
the only reason i changed was i couldn't find a 295/30/19 in the rear the day i needed them. i will probably go back to the 295/30/19 when i get a chance.
i personally can't see why 315 won't fit as long as you raise it up and set the suspension to stiff so it doesn't squat in the rear.

Thank you epic1si and JeffTsay for info,
JeffTsay, could you'll say your rims width that have +38 offset with 305s?
May be you known available backspace for GS2?
I think to buy Tanabe SSR Professor SP-1 rims model S118110 ("SL - 84mm", width 11J) with SBC coating. It has +49 offset. What you'll say?

I tried to search any other 18x11J wheels with offset 50-55, but not successful.
I think only custom wheels can have this big offsets.

Then I can buy the 11J rims w/ 49 offset and can use some spacers for most close fitment?

I'm currently using a 20x11 +33 on the rear of my vehicle and it is very close to the shock tower and flush with the fender. I'm using a 275/30R20 with rolled fenders but I cannot fit a 315 unless I pull the fenders more. I might get away with running 295/25R20 but that is pushing it. What you are planning to do is run something more extreme then what the car is designed for. So if you want 315/30R18 on a 11j rim you will need to do some fender modifications

I sell wheels and tires for a living so believe me when I say I know what I'm talking about and I eat, breath and sleep about offsets and sizing LOL. If you want a 11" wide rim with the most fender clearance I recommend a +37-40 offset. But you still may need to shave the rear fender because the tire is so wide but I'm not 100% certain, you might get lucky but that is your best shot. I suggest try that first and if the tire still rubs shave the rear, its not a big job or a big deal, just make sure to reseal it to prevent any rusting.
