i really dig the black chrome bezel, just started having 2nd thoughts if i should get it since all my other interior pieces would be chrome, and my front and rear Lexus "L"'s are chrome as well
sorry bro GGP gs3 SD should have black pearl badges lol jp. I feel you tho. it wouldnt match but still would be different. i just for the life of me cant find a dang black lexus badge for my steering wheel. Yeah you could paint it, i dunno about black chrome paint though, i don't think anything in a can would comeout looking that great, maybe have to settle for black or gunmetal color..

Yeah my car should definetly have the black pearl emblems, the previous owner shaved the rear emblems, and for some reason replaced it "L" with a regular chrome emblem.. I thought about changing it back out, might do it later, I just HATE applying emblems to cars, such a pain in the butt making sure they lay flat and oem looking..

not to mention the single black chrome L is probably like 75-95 bucks. either that or someone will want to sell me the whole rear emblem set for a couple hundred prolly..

No nothing in a can would look black pearl. I do need a new emblem for my steering wheel tho.

Even tho you have chrome badges it still looks good tho man i like it. My dad hates my Black pearl badges. Everytime he sees my car he says this makes absolutely no sense why they made these black... lol. I was thinking about debadging my car but im always changing my mind so i would hate to have to put them back.

Just find an emblem that is the same size and use some 3M double sided tape.

not sure how much is left in the can though

............................

On a side note, i would be slightly leary about how well it will hold up using that tint paint, seeing how you only want a few light coats, i just wondering how easy it will scratch? that paint is basically spray paint tint, I wonder if you could get the same effect wrapping a emblem with tint and using a heat gun to basically shrink wrap the tint around the emblem... probably too small with too many curves, just an idea though.

Erik, you're supposed to put clear coat on afterward so it should hold up decently well. If it's going to the be steering wheel emblem, just don't touch it lol.
