Also we never got the GS400 or GS430 which was a real shame!

Maybe that's why you don't see many, and we love them so much.

Cheers, & happy New Year.
So that's the reason why your GS300 has the same amenities as the GS430.

How is it you have a 2000 black cherry pearl? I though that color was 01-05? Seem like all GS3 come with wood steering wheels. I'm glad I have one

Yes you do. It was dealer fitted when the car was new. I hate it.

It seems in the USA the year model codes are for the following year? Update GS300's here, afaik, were introduced in mid or late 2000. Only the update models came with the wood steering wheels. I love mine

Welcome mate. Those rear 22's look huge on the car, otherwise she's sitting pretty. Spacers would be a big help up front as well

My GS300 is December 2000 build, and first registered in January 2001.

Also had rear parking assist (dealer installed). Drove me crazy so it is now disconnected.

Bought my 1998 GS300 Burgundy from Greenacre, Sydney about 4 months ago. Flew down from Coffs and drove the car home. Had my first introduction to the dreaded 100km/hr shake on the Freeway. Didn't realise back then though. Thought it was wheel balancing issue. Now all front suspensions refreshed and much better to drive, still shake occassionally. Love to drive the car. Great comfortable cruiser on the Freeway.

Thanks to this forum, I have been able to carry out most maintenance myself. So a big cheers to everyone and a Happy New Year 2011.

Love the new rims. What brand/size rims and tyres are you running?
