Question suspension advice please

I have a 2002 gs 430 with about 76k on it just purchased. The front struts or shocks need to be replaced and I am not happy with the handling. I have read through the threads and discussions for coil overs vs springs and shocks etc. but have not found a good answer for my concerns so maybe one of you can help. My other car is a BMW 5 series and corners great. My last car was a 98 sc 400 and handled well. Boy was I surprised at the amount of BODY ROLL when cornering this GS. This car is a daily driver, I drive in the city and the highway a lot and ride quality is important to me. I do not care too much about how high or low the car sits and have no plans to change the stock 17" wheels. I just want this car to take corners well and get rid of the body roll. What is the best solution to get rid of the body roll and improve cornering ability without losing ride quality. Is it possible? I do not want to drop a bunch of money on a set up that is going to make the car uncomfortable to drive. My first time on the forum, you all seem really well informed but are doing a lot more modding than I would ever consider on a daily driver. I would greatly appreciate your suggestions and input.

Improving cornering requires a lower center of gravity...that means lowering the car. Tanabe springs and bilsteins shocks seem to be a good combo, or even dropping with RCAs.

For body roll, get some aftermarket sway bars and poly bushings....preferably Daizen. The rear Daizen sway bar is adjustable.
